As you probably know, I’ve signed up for yet another  season with Team in Training — this time as a mentor!  Not only will I be back on the bike and getting in shape for the Moab Century Tour, I’ll hopefully be helping some great participants do the same.

Our training season kicks off this coming weekend, which sounds to me like the perfect time to start work on my other goal for this summer: raising $2300 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). I know times are tough right now, but every donation – even a few dollars – can really make a difference in finding a cure.

Please click HERE to donate online. Remember – every dollar you give is 100% tax deductible!

Is great reading your blog whilst I am sat at home injured just waiting to get back on my bike. I’m sure I will find you’re site motivating. Awesome to know you are raising money for charity too – I wish you all the best. I am planning on cycling from England (London) to Switzerland (Geneva) via France (Paris) next year raising money for charity too. 🙂

What do we have here?

An often sarcastic, occasionally humorous journal of my training adventures in preparation for the Livestrong century ride. I took up cycling back in '07 in hopes of meeting new people, and, with the help of Team in Training, making my small positive difference in the world -- and haven't stopped spinning since. Follow along as my Trek road bike and I try and hash out our differences, hopefully with me upright and in the saddle.
